Grade 5 Ti-6Al-4V titanium wire forms a dense oxide layer in oxidizing media, providing excellent corrosion resistance in environments such as seawater and chloride-rich conditions.
UNS R56400 (Grade 5 Ti-6Al-4V) wire is straightened and polished, gradually oxidizing in air to develop a distinctive titanium luster. It is non-magnetic, making it suitable for specialized environments.
