How is Titanium Wire Made?

Three different forms of titanium oxides, namely TiO2, Ti3Al2O5, and Ti4SiC6, are used to create titanium wire, one of the most widely used metals in the world. The material is first melted and heated to a high temperature. Then, it is extruded through a die or wire milling cutter at a temperature of about 3200°Fahrenheit for roughly one second. The result is a pure titanium wire that can withstand temperatures up to 900°Celsius without melting or breaking and has a diameter between 0.008 and 0.010.”

Surface treatment

The surface is washed by using acid liquid and has smooth finish.

Surface quality

The surface has high accuracy and is clean and smooth. No oxidized color, cracks, peelings, burrs,spots or inclusions. Slight and local scratches, abrasions, spots and pits are allowed, but without exceeding acceptable tolerance of titanium wire’s diameter.

Physical properties

Better elongation and strength. No deformation after cold bending. No cracks after flattening and flaring. Wires with the diameter of over 3mm have no discontinuity, pores, laminations, cracks, and metal or non-metal impurities.

Test

Tensile strength test, macroscopic inspection, hardness test and test on chemical ingredients.

A: 1 kg. For regular standard medical and aerospace materials, based on our production capacity of 20 tons per month for titanium wire and rods. the stock inventory could meet all your requirements.

Q: What's the payment term?

A: When we quote for you, we will confirm with you the way of transaction, FOB, CIF, CNF, etc.
For mass-production goods, you need to pay 30% deposit before producing and 70% balance against a copy of documents. The common way is by T/T. L/C is also acceptable.
