Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-6Mo (Ti-6246) is an alpha-beta titanium alloy composed of titanium (Ti), aluminum (Al), tin (Sn), zirconium (Zr), and molybdenum (Mo). It can be heat-treated to achieve higher strength in larger cross-sections compared to Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5 Titanium), while maintaining excellent corrosion resistance. This alloy is frequently selected for applications that demand high strength, light weight, and superior corrosion resistance.
